My sister in law, Nora, has a little tiara party every year to signify a big celebratory day in her life. So she sent tiaras to Ruby and I. I was able to take a quick selfie to celebrate but trying to get Ruby to sit for photos is like asking a cat to take a bath!
In an act of God, however, she started asking about her pretty red dress and how she wanted to wear it. I jumped on the chance and mentioned the tiara and how we should take a couple of photos for Aunt Nora!
Now, as a mother I'm not an advocate of getting kids to do what you want for treats. I think that's a huge set-up for failure. But as a photographer every now and then??? Can I look at myself in the mirror after? OH, YES. ;) So I told her she could have some ice cream if we could quick take some photos.
The 'session' last seven minutes? Maybe? Here's more photos of my daughter during the apocalypse... and her many selves. (Noooo idea where she gets it). ;)
